On the route homeward, we stopped in Ulmarra for Jan to look at antiques and for me to photograph rusty things. North from there, Jan saw a big black & white bird in a pond. I managed to get turned around, went back, & was well rewarded. There were a pair of Jabiru (black necked storks. They were my highlight, but I also saw an egret landing, ducks & cockatoos, and more rust ! Further north there is a house with MANY bird sculpture in & around the yard.

Then on to our usual stop at the Grafton Info/Maccas lily pond. Timing was good for lunch, so we tried the pub food at The Village Green Hotel. We ate well & had patio views of Jacaranda lined streets. On the route homeward, we stopped in Ulmarra for Jan to look at antiques and for me to photograph rusty things.
